Jazz students with immense musical talent, a renowned jury and an ambient venue in a famous concert hall. These are the ingredients for the prestigious Erasmus Jazz Prize. An annual competition for jazz talents from Codarts. During the semi-finals at the Codarts venue, the WMDC, three bands are selected to show what they have got on 30 April in the Eduard Flipse Zaal of the Doelen. They will challenge themselves, explore and exceed the boundaries of music. Expect a highly varied, unique jazz programme featuring today's most talented jazz musicians.
