The Christoph Spendel Group started performing around Europe and later worldwide in the late seventies. Founded by German jazzpianist, keyboardist, composer, arranger, producer and jazz educator Christoph Spendel. The latest CD "Avenue E" has been released in 2021 on Blue Flame Records as CD, download, stream etc. During the years of existence the band has been touring around the world and playing clubs / festivals in Europe, Canada, Australia incl. Jazzfestivals in Montreux, Berlin, Montreal a.o.
The musical style is influenced by modern and traditional Jazz, Latin Music and Pop and by the musical cultures of both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. Therefore the band tittle:
"Music Between The Americas And Europe"
