Liberdades is a program that rises at a time when many of us forget what Freedom is. April 25, 1974 is the most recent date in the History of the Freedom of Portugal, but because it is a very broad concept, we decided to merge it at several levels. If on the one hand we have E Depois do Adeus, or Pedra Filosofal, around the world we will also have Bella Ciao or Blowing in The Wind. We merged authors like Zeca Afonso, Paulo de Carvalho, Bob Dylan, John Lennon, and others. Everyone gathered here in their views on Freedom. Keeping Jazz as a Universal language, we will hear each one read, maintaining all artistic Freedoms. We brought two national voices: Ana Laíns to the Portuguese songs and Ana “Cherry” Caldeira to the international songs.
