To celebrate Jazz Day 2024, Mákina de Cena in collaboration with Cineteatro Louletano present the release concert for Gonçalo Neto’s new album, LITTLE DINOSAUR.
Gonçalo Neto is a portuguese jazz guitar player/composer, from the south of Portugal.
He created this project during his staying at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, later recording it with Mauro Cottone - bass, João Guerra - drums, José Soares - alto sax. and Nicolò Ricci - tenor sax.
The result is a energetic blend of Neto’s main influences: jazz, rock and country/folk.
This concert also represents the 2nd album published by the label MdC Records, a part of Makina de Cena’s work, dedicated to support artists related to jazz, based on the south of Portugal.
