David Lopera began playing piano at the age of two and graduated in Jazz Piano from EAFIT University in 2015. He has established himself as one of Medellín's top pianists and leads his solo project, where he composes, arranges, and directs.
He released his album La Espina Aural and has recorded on albums by Arbey Valencia, Pachito Muñoz, Guillermo Lozano, and Orquesta La Pascasia. As an arranger, he has worked with Cantoalegre, Claudia Gómez, and Vuelta Candela.
With nearly three decades of experience, he has shared the stage with Aideé Milanés, Ibrahim Ferrer Jr., Yuri Buenaventura, Juanes, and major orchestras like the Medellín Philharmonic.
