” But What is Jazz”?

The event, which will be held in Fano and is reserved for middle and high schools, is entitled “Ma cos’è il jazz?” (What is jazz?). It reflects the highly informative and educational nature of International Jazz Day, which favors the participation of young musicians from local schools not only as spectators but also as performers and interpreters. The program, in collaboration with the Mosaico Association, the Educational Services of the Municipality of Fano, the Teatro Della Fortuna Foundation, Jazz Goes to School, and the Education Departments of the schools of Fano, Pesaro, and Ancona, is divided into three days: April 28, 29, and 30, 2026.
