British Vocalist Anita Wardell is noted for her captivating vocal improvisations and vocalese lyrics to instrumental solos. She is a musician who uses the voice as her instrument, displaying precision and agility, with heartfelt emotion.

Anita is the recipient of the BBC Jazz Award for ‘Best of Jazz’ in 2006 and the British Jazz award for ‘Best Vocalist’ in 2013. She is joined by Australian Jazz luminaries Harry Mitchell, Karl Florisson and Ben Vanderwal.

Steeped in the bebop and jazz standards tradition, Anita will be paying tribute to the artists that have taught and inspired her on her musical journey thus far.
