Piacenza is preparing to resound with jazz. On Wednesday, April 30th, in celebration of International Jazz Day, “Jazz off Campus 2026” returns for the third consecutive year, the event conceived by the Jazz Department of the Nicolini Conservatory in collaboration with the Piacenza Jazz Club.
From 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM, Piacenza’s historic center will transform into a vast open-air stage with free touring concerts that will enliven two iconic locations in the city: Piazza San Francesco and Piazzetta Grida. The event will feature approximately 35 students from the Jazz Department of the “G. Nicolini” Conservatory, grouped together in various jazz ensembles and coordinated by instructors Tony Arco (jazz drums), Gianluca Zanello (jazz saxophone).
