SMOG Listening Session: Jazz in the cinema of Umiliani and Baker

CAM Sugar invites you to an evening with Piero Umiliani and Chet Baker for an exclusive listening session and talk dedicated to SMOG, led by the label’s catalog curator Andrea Fabrizii.
You will have the opportunity to discover – including previously unreleased music – the sound and story of the iconic 1962 Italian soundtrack Smog, where Chet Baker’s West Coast jazz meets the Mediterranean genius of Piero Umiliani and the refined voice of the legendary Helen Merrill.
Following that Andrea Fabrizii will curate a special vinyl DJ set exploring the cinematic jazz repertoire from the CAM Sugar catalog.
The event is part of CAM Sugar’s celebrations for Jazz Appreciation Month, and marks the release of SMOG – Archivio Segreto.
