The Centrale dell'Acqua hosts a preview of International Jazz Day 2026, celebrating the centenary of Miles Davis and John Coltrane, featuring bassist and educator Tito Leone Mangialajo Rantzer and the Sapis Trio.
Tito Leone Mangialajo Rantzer is a renowned Italian jazz bassist and educator who has recorded and performed with Lester Bowie, Herb Robertson, Roswell Rudd, George Garzone, Brian Lynch and Joe Fonda, appearing at jazz festivals across Europe and on five continents. He recorded soundtracks for Silvio Soldini's films, including Bread and Tulips. He holds the Electric Bass Jazz chair at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Milan and teaches Jazz History at the F. Vittadini Conservatory in Pavia.
Sapis Trio is a young Milanese jazz ensemble
