The duo brings together two very different backgrounds in their music: Zekka comes from hip-hop experiences, both as a solo artist and in various groups like Easy Funk, while Mattia Catalano comes from rock and jazz. The project, born with the intent of bringing rap and acoustic music together, aims to blend everything that can be played on a microphone and an acoustic guitar through the use of loops. From this encounter, the song “Barriere” was born, and some time later, the Marmenta project began, with the release of the first video for the single “Pandemonio” and subsequently their first EP, titled “Marmenta,” along with the video for the second
