Jazz Day Relay 2025: Lifelong Learning for Peace. A production of the Music Subnetwork of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.

This year the Music Subnetwork of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network celebrate our third edition of the Jazz Day Relay for International Jazz Day with a new, original composition by Mark Simeon Ferguson of Adelaide, Australia. The piece entitled “3:23 a.m.” highlights the theme Lifelong Learning for Peace, and SDG 4: Quality Education.
Twenty-One of the UNESCO Cities of Music have contributed a unique music video performance of the song, and the group has produced a montage video featuring short samples from each video. The Jazz Day Relay will roll-out in Auckland, New Zealand on 30 April 2025 at 10 AM local time – bookmark our YouTube channel for the 2025 Jazz Day Relay playlist featuring the montage and full videos from each city.
