Established in 2006, the JZ Big Band is a top-tier jazz ensemble in China, featuring elite jazz musicians from both China and abroad. The band has collaborated with artists such as Dee Dee Bridgewater, John Daversa, Cui Jian, Li Quan, Shunza, Coco Zhao and more. They have been invited to perform at prestigious events including the Copenhagen Jazz Festival in Denmark, various editions of the JZ Festival Shanghai, the Shanghai International Film Festival, the Xiamen Jazz Festival, as well as countdown performances for the Shanghai World Expo. Additionally, the JZ Big Band has served as the designated band for Dutch songstress Laura Fygi's China tour, performing in cities such as Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Hong Kong, garnering attention
