West Coast Jazz Festival is a 2 day student jazz festival hosted by Vancouver Island University, Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada. Over 50 high school jazz combos, jazz ensembles, vocal jazz and R & B groups from all over Vancouver Island perform for adjudcation and clinics. Lunchtime concerts feature our adjudicator combo, VIU combo and West Coast Grade 12 All-Star Combo. Adjudicators include Steve Jones, Jules Estrin, Ken Lister, Brent Jarvis, Rosemary Lindsay, Kelby McNayr, Sarah Falls and Bryan Stovell. Admission to all events is free.
