Ashiya Jazz Festival – 10th Anniversary
In 2026, the Ashiya Jazz Festival proudly celebrates its 10th Anniversary — a decade of music, community, and shared rhythm.
What began as a local jazz celebration has grown into a citywide cultural event featuring approximately 15 venues and over 200 bands performing throughout Ashiya. From intimate stages to powerful big band performances, the entire city transforms into a living, breathing celebration of jazz.
Our traditional date has been April 29, often kicking off Japan’s celebrations surrounding International Jazz Day. However, this special anniversary year, the festival will take place on May 5, making it an even more memorable Golden Week gathering.
All venues are free and open to everyon
