An intimate quartet in which the voice ( Sofia Rodrigues) takes the central role in the musical narrative, accompanied by piano ( Simon ), double bass ( Juliana Mendonça), and drums ( Luís Candeias ).
In this concert, the group revisits works by composers such as Duke Ellington, Richard Rodgers, and Billy Strayhorn, among others, focusing mainly on ballads of rare beauty. Melody, poetry, and improvisation intertwine to create a sensitive atmosphere that invites the audience to experience a close, delicate, and deeply emotional listening experience.
