The Sebastian Garzon Trio will present an interactive educational concert at The Renaissance Academy of International Learning (TRAIL) on April 30 in celebration of International Jazz Day. The ensemble—Sebastian Garzon (drums & composition), Victor Méndez (guitar), and Hever Montero (bass)—will guide students through a dynamic exploration of the history, rhythm, and creativity of jazz. Through live performances, instrument demonstrations, improvisation, guided listening, and student interaction with the musicians, students will discover how jazz functions as a global musical language built on rhythm, creativity, and improvisation. The program will be presented in two sessions for Elementary (PK–5) and Middle & High School (Grades 6–12).
