Panduo is a jazz duo exploring improvisation and musical dialogue in its purest form. Formed by Ricardo Jesus on alto saxophone and Hugo Santos on double bass, the project transforms instrumental simplicity into rich, dynamic, and expressive soundscapes.
With only two instruments, Panduo creates a sonic space where every note can breathe. Lyrical melodies, rhythmic pulse, harmony, and free improvisation interact in a constant conversation between saxophone and double bass.
Balancing jazz tradition with the freedom of contemporary improvisation, Panduo turns minimalism into creative strength, resulting in intimate and unpredictable music shaped by deep musical connection and a shared search for new sonic paths.
