International Jazz Day comes to the Royal Albert Hall to celebrate the music of Ernest Ranglin OJ OD, the virtuoso Jamaican guitarist.
Ernest Ranglin OJ OD is accepted as one of Jamaica’s most celebrated guitarists and arrangers. He was there at the birth of Ska in Kingston Town and displayed his many talents on stage in the early days during the Swinging ‘60s at Ronnie Scott’s in London’s West End.
Gary Crosby OBE is a phenomenal bassist, founder member of the Jazz Warriors and co-founder, along with Janine Irons, of Tomorrow’s Warriors, just happens to be the nephew of the Jamaican legend! He leads a group of like-minded Souls inna journey between Jazz and Studio One manifesting Ska for the 21st century.
