Jazz On The Move is more than a photography exhibition — it is an invitation to experience music even when the sound falls silent. Created in 2018, the project gathers unique moments from the activities of the Orquestra de Jazz do Algarve, captured by professional photographers who transform performances, rehearsals, and backstage scenes into powerful visual narratives.
Touring several municipalities across the Algarve throughout the year, under the artistic direction of photographer Fátima Vargas, the exhibition continually reinvents itself in each new venue. Every space brings a different atmosphere, renewing the dialogue between jazz, photography, and place - a visual celebration of Algarve jazz.
