Jazz in Paradise is a unique fundraising event for the Ata Tribe Indigenous People in the mountain municipality of Don Salvador Benedicto, province of Negros Occidental, Philippines. Now on its third-year celebration, this year’s event features Ms. Charito, one of Japan’s top female jazz vocalists, along with the Elhmir Saison Trio of Manila, with special guests: American saxophonist Paul Chatman, vocalist Kristina Madrigal with the Gabria Band from Iloilo City, and bluesman Luis Jurilla. All proceeds from this concert will augment the medical assistance and livelihood of the Ata Tribe.
