International Jazz Day | Gilad Hekselman Trio (IL/US)

On April 28, M/House of Jazz celebrates International Jazz Day with the Gilad Hekselman Trio, appearing in the Baltics for the first time. The event includes a workshop from 4:00–5:30 p.m. and a concert at 7:00 p.m.
New York-based guitarist Gilad Hekselman is among the leading jazz artists of his generation. He has collaborated with Chris Potter, Eric Harland, Esperanza Spalding, and Tigran Hamasyan, and has released 11 albums as a bandleader.
The trio will present a contemporary New York jazz program, reflecting Hekselman’s current creative direction, as heard on recent recordings such as Trio Grande: Urban Myth (2023).
