The energy of funk and jazz in one evening – Big Heavy returns to the M/House of Jazz stage!
This musical collective was founded in 2023 and, within two years, has become a prominent part of the Latvian jazz and funk scene. Big Heavy’s concerts feature musicians from Latvia and the Baltics in various lineups, and up to eleven members often come together on stage, creating a powerful, dynamic concert experience.
The program features legendary funk, jazz-funk, and fusion pieces by masters such as Freddie Hubbard, Herbie Hancock, and John Scofield, as well as Big Heavy’s original compositions.
