Celebrating the 150th anniversary of M. K. Čiurlionis’ birth, his work continues to be a source of inspiration for many artists, and his music still moves and enchants the hearts of listeners. The project “After Čiurlionis” is an interpretation of the Lithuanian genius’ music, presented through the musical lens of two masters of jazz and improvisational music – Dmitrij Golovanov and Jan Maksimovič.
The concert program “After Čiurlionis” consists of arranged piano preludes by M. K. Čiurlionis.
