The concepts of "Azerbaijan" and "jazz" are similar, as both signify beautiful melodies, rich improvisations and mysterious harmonies. Therefore, jazz music has become an integral part of Azerbaijani music culture almost for a century. The most famous Azerbaijani jazzmen will join the jazz festival at the Gala Concert organized by the Ministry for Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan as part of the Baku International Jazz Day.
