Saxophonist Yahya Dai, originally from Ankara and in the 39th. year of his performance career, leads the Yahya Dai Quartet, established in 1999, will perform at AsaKhai Jazz Club (Istanbul) in recognition of the International Jazz Day. Dai has worked with many notable musicians including Tuna Ötenel, Janusz Szprot, David Friedman and has been involved with numerous local and international festivals, projects and organizations related to jazz.He’s participated in 70+ published recordings. In 2011 Dai’s Yahya Dai Quartet released the album “Ümitvar Mavi”.Yahya Dai (ts, ewi) will be at the Asakhai stage with Kaan Bıyıkoğlu (k), Eylem Pelit (b) Erkan Sönmez (d) and featuring Ebru Selvikavak (v) on 30 April 2026, International Jazz Day.
