Hakan Behlil’s bass lines, shaped by his 1970s experiences and collaborations with masters like Okay Temiz and Chet Baker, give the music a deep, seasoned foundation. Olgun Açar’s drumming brings a younger pulse, shifting grooves that challenge and energize the band. Tahsin Ünüvar’s tenor sax and Umut Deniz’s guitar trade phrases, their voices crossing eras—lyrical ballads melting into fiery modal explorations. What emerges is not just a performance but a dialogue between generations, each musician pushing the other forward, proving that jazz lives in the tension between memory and invention.
