Alkébulan Trio – Afro-Jazz & Rebroadcast of Live Improvisation for International Jazz Day

The Alkébulan Trio rebroadcast a recorded Afro-Jazz concert blending African rhythms, jazz improvisation and contemporary influences. Led by saxophonist Alain Rodrigue Oyono, longtime collaborator of Youssou Ndour’s Super Étoile, the trio explored musical dialogues between tradition and modernity. Saxophonist Alain Oyono and the trio recorded the Afro-Jazz performance at the Sily d’Or in Montréal. The performance featured original compositions and reinterpretations, highlighting freedom of expression, cultural exchange and the spirit of International Jazz Day.
