Celebrate this global moment, the power of jazz, the energy, creativity, and unity that jazz inspires, honoring our shared heritage during a powerful night of music with composer and musician Vernon Chatlein , featuring unforgettable local artists like Randal Corsen, Eric Calmes, Rendel Rosalia, Pernell Saturnino, Mara Leti, Shadee and Rien. Vernon Chatlein will brings a deeply personal and cultural performance to life, inspired by his research into Afro-Curaçaoan music and the historic Zikinzá archive.
The evening will also include a special introduction by Dr. Rob de Lannoy, sharing insights from his Internal Medicine practice. Expect a unique blend of traditional Curaçaoan percussion, chamber music, and jazz influences.
