The Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra shares the stage with Pomelo Town Quartet: (Darin Pantoomkomol -Piano, Noppadol Tirataradol -Bass, Sarute Wijitwechakarn -Drums, Donny McCaslin -Tenor Sax) at the Thailand International Jazz Conference. In celebration of John Coltrane’s 100th birthday, the group performs A Love Supreme, a four-part suite that captures Coltrane’s profound journey of spiritual awakening and gratitude. Recorded in a single session in 1964, this landmark work blends modal jazz, avant-garde exploration, and deeply personal spirituality into one transcendent arc.
