On the occasion of International Jazz Day and my 25 years of activity in the production of audiovisual material about Jazz, a video produced as a tribute to the development of Jazz in Africa since the 1950s, until the 1970s, with particular emphasis on South African jazz, will be shown.
This will be the first broadcast of a larger series in which the analysis of Jazz, Blues and musical fusions in the different regions of Africa will be delved into, as an effort of research and exploration towards a continent that still requires study. through a systematic and bias-free approach.
