Montreux Jazz Festival Franschhoek – When Montreux Meets Africa
03/27 12:00
Franschhoek
The first-ever Montreux Jazz Festival Franschhoek, offers a jazz-inspired, multi-genre music experience through a distinctly African lens. Set over three days in South Africa’s Cape Winelands, the festival celebrates cross-cultural exchange and unexpected collaborations between African and international artists. Performances take place on Friday and Saturday across two stages: The Arches, an outdoor main stage, and the Jazz Village, an intimate space for discovery and close-listening. The weekend concludes with the Sunday Slowdown, a hospitality-led experience of music, food and wine. Inspired by the legacy of the Montreux Jazz Festival, audiences are invited to experience Montreux through Africa — personal, immersive and unforgettable.
