The Barbados Jazz Society in collaboration with the Kingdom of the Netherlands under the patronage of His Excellency Ambassador Cor Hersbach present Michiel Borstlap and Friends performing a tribute to Herbie Hancock, the legendary pianist and composer and UNESCO’s Ambassador for Intercultural Dialogue.
Award winning concert pianist, Michiel Borstlap from the Netherlands, Hershel Rosario on guitar and drummer Marlon Conradus from Curacao, will celebrate King’s Day which is the national day of Kingdom of the Netherlands usually celebrated on April 27th, but will be celebrated May 5th. Opening for the Dutch Trio will be Barbadian trombonist Jomo Slusher and Friends.
