Kevin Lawlor and UK jazz pianist Dave Jones have been working together for over a decade and will perform with the great German bass player Florian Kockott for this annual jazz event. The trio will perform original music as well as jazz repertoire from standards to contemporary jazz.
Kevin Lawlor is the Director of Jazz Studies at County Wexford School of Music. This performance will feature 2 ensembles of CWSM students who rehearse weekly under Kevin Lawlors direction. This educational aspect will spotlight Wexford as an outpost for jazz education in Ireland.
