DESCRIPTION OF JAZZ PROGRAMME
The Groovy Colours is the electronic band of the Ballanta Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Freetown, Sierra Leone, West Africa.
The Jazz Evening is held by the Groovy Colours during the month May. It showcases smooth jazz pieces and popular songs that are adapted to fit the occasion.
Also featuring on the programme would be Reginald Thompson (alto saxophone), James Christobert Laundeh (soprano saxophone), Drucil Taylor (baritone singer) and Christopher James (Pianist).
The Jazz Evening would be held on 30th May 2025 at the Hall no. 2 of the Bintumani Hotel, Aberdeen, west of Freetown.
The programme is expected to last for a maximum of 1hour 30 minutes.
