International Jazz Day mit Hania Derej und dem Institute of Sounds

On April 30, International Jazz Day, the extraordinary artist Hania Derej will be featured. At
just 21 years old, the pianist, arranger, and conductor has already composed over 150
works, which can be heard on 10 albums.
Following the solo concert, Hania Derej will perform with selected young artists from the Hamburg scene:
Samantha Wright (clarinet), Rafa Müller (drums), Henning Schiewer (bass).
One of Europe’s most renowned jazz pianists, Vladyslav Sendecki will host the evening and offer an additional perspective with reflections on the role of jazz in our time.
Dance into May: Jazz Dancefloor with the Institute of Sounds
Afterward, the Institute of Sounds - the Hamburg DJ collective - will spin tunes: jazz, soul, samba, Afrobeat...
