First concert (8:00 p.m.): “A Night At Birdland”
commemorating the 70th anniversary of the landmark albums by the legendary quintet comprised of Art Blakey, Clifford Brown, Horace Silver, Lou Donaldson and Curly Russell. Under the direction of the talented Gregory Rivkin (known for his work with the “Mingus Big Band”, Elvin Jones, etc.), a quintet will perform music from these iconic albums.

Second concert (9:55 p.m.): “Trumpet Summit!!”
featuring three of Israel's finest trumpeters: Gregory Rivkin, Jonathan Kozlovsky and Assa Kook. In this unique concert, they 3 trumpeters will engage in a breathtaking trumpet battle, showcasing the exhilarating tradition of jazz battles.
