MAGENTA JAZZ – Activities in the framework of International Jazz Day

Magenta Jazz is an Afro-Peruvian jazz band made up of women musicians. Founded by Luana Brazzán and Raffaella Cáceres in 2022, the group seeks to promote greater participation of women in the world of jazz fusion. Their repertoire includes works by Peruvian artists such as Laura Andrea Leguía, César Peredo, and Aníbal Seminario, among others. Magenta Jazz has performed at important venues and festivals, including the ICPNA Jazz Festival in 2023 and the jazz festival organized by Pepe Céspedes at La Noche de Barranco.
