The Ania Paz Trio’s concert on April 2nd at Kulturbrücken Jungbusch Mannheim is the second International Jazz Day celebration of the group, as part of their Spring Tour 2025 in Southern Germany. After a successful international career in Latin America and the USA, Peruvian-Spanish pianist and composer Ania Paz has found her musical home in Berlin, where she fuses her numerous travel experiences with the sound colors of the Berlin jazz scene. On drums, Christoph Hillmann is known as an exceptionally sensitive and detail-oriented multi-stylist. On bass, Carmelo Leotta is a Europe-based musician who has embraced a wide range of musical influences.
