International Jazz Day Celebration 2026 will take place on 30 April at Fat Cat Jazz Club in Ulaanbaatar, co-organized by the Mongolian National Commission for UNESCO and Fat Cat Jazz Club. The event celebrates jazz as a tool for cultural diplomacy, promoting peace, dialogue, and creativity. Bringing together 60–70 participants including diplomats, IO, partners, and donors,it will feature opening remarks, a presentation of UNESCO-related initiatives, live jazz performances, and networking sessions. The programme aims to strengthen partnerships, showcase ongoing projects, and create new opportunities for collaboration while further establishing Mongolia’s tradition of celebrating International Jazz Day at an international standard.
