Jazz Hits the Streets: Frankie Goes To Brings International Jazz Day to Den Helder

Until now, celebrations in the Netherlands have been at cities like Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Frankie Goes To wants to change that. The band has made it their mission to bring International Jazz Day to the Noordkop region.
Big band Frankie Goes To will play two 45-minute sets, one at the Huisduinen church at 2:00 PM, and another at the bandstand in Loopuytpark, Julianadorp at 4:30 PM.
What makes these performances truly special is that you don't have to just sit back and listen. Anyone who plays an instrument is welcome to jump in and play along with the big band. Feeling brave? There's even room to improvise a solo.
Jazz thrives here too, and we want to give everyone a chance to experience it, whether they're listening or playing!
