Marist Jazz Night returns to Ashgrove in celebration of International Jazz Day, showcasing the full breadth of the college’s vibrant jazz program. Audiences will be treated to performances by Big Band 1, 2 and 3, followed by a special feature set from Brisbane’s trailblazing Unladylike Big Band—Queensland’s only all‑women, women‑led big band, renowned for championing female jazz artists and performing powerful works by women composers.
Expect an evening of a mix of classic and contemporary jazz repertoire as young musicians share the stage with one of Brisbane’s most inspiring professional ensembles.
