For International Jazz Day 2026, Penny Black Jazz Club presents Imperfection: The Perfection of Jazz.
Jazz has never been about playing everything perfectly. It lives in small changes, mistakes, and moments that happen only once. That is where the feeling comes from. This event focuses on live music as a human exchange, where musicians listen and respond to each other in real time, and the audience becomes part of that shared experience.
By bringing people together to listen closely, we celebrate jazz as something honest, alive, and deeply human, which is the spirit of International Jazz Day.
