This year, from April 28th to 30th, the Jacmel Jazz Festival celebrates its 9th edition in a difficult sociopolitical context with a wave of juvenile delinquency and insecurity in Haiti. This edition is dedicated to childhood and social inclusion. With many new features, we offer introductory music and emotion management workshops designed especially for children, a mini-concert for disabled people’s associations, a conference on Creole jazz in partnership with the Foundation Haiti Jazz, a debate on the role and importance of jazz in communities, a jazz cocktail concert, and two other concerts.
